HSG Test?

Question

Has anyone has an HSG exam? I have one Tuesday and have freaked myself out by googling stories and watching YouTube videos. I am so nervous of the pain. I've heard some people say it's no worse than cramps and some say it's unbearable. 😟

I'm a Xray tech, I've helped out with tons of these.  Most women do just fine, they usually tell them to expect some cramps during the procedure.  And it's done pretty quickly too, ID say roughly 5-10 mins on the table.

I had one in December. It is uncomfortable but not that bad really. Just some cramping like you'd have with a period.  Take some ibuprofen beforehand!  I was really anxious as well. I hope you get good results!

Take an ibuprofen before you go and it will def help with the pain. Mine was no worse than the cramps I have on my light period days.

I've had one recently, it was definitely uncomfortable but it's over quick. My doctor prescribed me 800 mg ibuprofen that I took an hour before the procedure. It just felt like pretty bad cramps to me.
