Home birth?

Question

I'm planning a home birth with midwives and want to hear some other momma's who've had all natural home births? what's your story? would you do it again? was it easy/scary??

My first was an ummedicated hospital birth, my second was a homebirth and there is no comparison. We immediately knew we would do a homebirth for baby #3 too. Most peaceful, relaxed and supported experience of my life. It was magical!

I'm planning a home birth, also (my first baby). My mom had her last two at home, as well as a couple of my aunts. They wouldn't go back to a hospital after the experience of home birth.
I highly recommend watching "The Business of Being Born" on YouTube. Also, Ina May's "Guide to Childbirth" is a good read.

Not me personally but my mums a home birth midwife and had all 5 of us at home! Me being the oldest was there for all of them I was in my early teens when the last 3 where born and honestly it's just the most relaxed amazing experience to be apart of! And out of the hundreds of baby's she's delivered not a single one has ever had complications or needed to go to the hospital including breach births and twin births. I would love too have a home birth but due to medical reasons it may not be safe for me this time but if this birth goes well it's definetly my goal for our next baby ☺️

We are planing a home birth too and I am excited about it! I feel like I cant share my excitement with my family though... the very few people I told  get super judgmental and try to talk me out of it which is the last thing I need.
I researched a bit about doing a natural birth at the hospital, but I couldnt feel comfortable with that idea.

I'm having a home birth, I'm a first time mum and the first in my friends and family to do it, but as soon as I found I was pregnant I knew that this was right for my baby!! :) I have a fantastic midwife and I'm really excited for it.

I had my first at home and will have my second as well!  It was magical and euphoric.  I stayed mostly in a birthing tub, but had him standing in a squat.  I got to catch him.  I kept the lights low, candles burning, and my Hypnobirthing cd on repeat.  Definitely read Marie Mongan Hypnobirthing!  It takes away the fear using the techniques.  Fear =tension=pain.  I can't wait to labor again!  32+ weeks to go!

I considered it but I have potential risk factors so I'm delivering with a nurse midwives group in a hospital setting, hoping for everything to be natural. I could still try, but since I have this option my husband wasn't totally comfortable risking it. One of the midwives trained with Ina May though so I feel like it's the next best thing!

I'd like to know too! I'm planning a water birth but I'm SO scared it's going to hurt like hell! It doesn't help that ALL of my friends with babies think I'm nuts for going the all natural route...
