Bleeding after fingering or sex

My boyfriend and I had sex lastnight. It has been a while since we had sex about a month and some weeks and after we had sex and I took a shower and sneezed, blood came from out of my vagina. It is my period cause I had that last week. Should I be worried? What could have caused this ?
