Yesterday at my ultrasound the tech considers me as being "thin". I have never, not once in my life, considered myself as thin and hearing this kinda made me upset. Either someone is lying to spare feelings or mirrors lie

Maybe they were just making conversation or trying to make you comfortable. It's not exactly a relaxing situation especially when you have to do a transvaginal u/s.

I'm sorry you were upset but I'm not seeing WHY you were? Was she being especially rude or unkind when she said it to you? I'm plus size so what someone else would think is average I might see as thin but I would never mean it in an offensive or demeaning way. We all have a different prospective about bodies, especially our own.
