Should I change the date?

My sister is due Aug 3 and said she didnt care when my wedding was when I asked her when would be good. I set the date for sept 18 and her response was "for f*ck sakes Allie that's like the worst time for me".. If she had an opinion she should've spoken up when I asked her about dates!! What should I do?

Ok... that's ur day so u shouldn't have to plan ur wedding around ur sister's life. Whatever is convenient for u. Set a date and go with it. That's all

I feel like she should be more upset if it was close to her due date because babies show up on their own schedule and that could mess with whether she can attend or not. A month and a half after her due date? Sounds perfect to me. Don't let it bug you-- proceed planning YOUR day!

Just went through this myself. I had two sister due in June 2015. I told me mom I would get married til after the new year. She went to AZ for one of them and when she came home I told her we decided on November 7th. Of course everyone was pissed. But oh well. It's my wedding. One of my other sister got married the weekend before me too. So EVERY ONE was pissed. But we got through it with some fights and it was beautiful. But I wish I would have waited. I made it stressful for no reason.

That's plenty of time! It's not all about her. It's your day. Plan it for whenever you want!

I would say that if the date is not set it stone yet then you can move it. The fall foliage will be in full force closer to September, and will make for some very gorgeous pictures. Your sister is being kind of rude but I'm sure she's just disappointed that the baby will still be so little and she will probably be very distracted with it and not be able to enjoy the wedding with you.

She will be VERY pregnant and very tired/uncomfortable at that time. Will she be in your wedding party? I reckon if you don't have any vendors booked yet, and the date you picked is still just a thought, I would push is back (or forward) a couple of months.
