8 week ultrasound 😕

My OB won't see me until I'm nearly 11 weeks - so I decided to pay $20 for a private ultrasound. They saw the sac, but no baby yet. I was really hoping to hear a heartbeat and now I'm feeling more nervous than before the appointment. Is this normal or should I be concerned?
