Washable vs disposable breast pads?

I have a gift certificate for washable breast pads but before I use it i want to see if they're worth it or if I should just buy disposables?

I used both. The washable ones are more comfortable but disposable is easier. You may wanna use washable at night for more comfort and throw aways during the day.

I love my bamboobies sooooo much! I bought a box of disposable breast pads and I feel like it makes it look like I stuffed my bra with tissue when I wear them lol...I invested in about 8 pair of washable ones and I use about 2 pairs/day.

For the first few months I used disposables. Now that my supply has evened out and I don't leak quite as much I've switched to the washable bamboobies and oh my gosh I love them! They are soo soft and don't crumple like the disposables. I love them. So my answer to the poll would be both! Disposables in the beginning and reusables a bit later.

I had a ton of milk and soaked the washable ones in five seconds. One let down and done. With the disposable ones, I could put a new one in and not carry a ton of wet pads around with me.

Personally, mine needed changed more often than I had time to wash them-- I stuck with disposables. However, if you don't leak a ton, disposables are nice and eco friendly.
