Twins but they don't run in the family?!

Question

Has anyone gotten pregnant with twins or are having twins but they have never ran in the family of you or your husband?! Just curious! I go in for my first ultrasound in 4 days and I've been having crazy dreams about having twins and I kinda have a weird feeling... Thoughts?!

I don't have any twins in my family. I have had three sets of twins. First were identical which I miscarried second were fraternal which I miscarried. This time were fraternal but had a vanishing twin syndrome. Apparently my body just likes to make twins!

Identical twins don't run in families, totally random. So you have just as much of a chance at identical twins as anyone else!

I'm curious, too! I don't think they run in my family (and we aren't sure about my husbands family, bc he is adopted), but I've been having dreams about it too!
