Ovulation pain?

I have just been reading through some of the posts and many say they have pain when ovulating. Is this normal? I don't get any pain apart from when I am on my period.

Yes!! There's even a term for it! It's a German word: "mittleschmertz" or middle pain.. I.e you ovulate in the middle of your cycle ( more or less) and sometimes can be felt which can be painful

This is my first time in 18 years not taking birth control and I tested positive for ovulating yesterday. I can TOTALLY feel it! I can't even touch my nipples, I'm bloated, headache, I can tell I'm ovulating from my left side bc I can feel it like cramping and my CM is pouring out. Since I got on pills as soon as I got my period I never really felt it before. Here's hoping I get a BFP in 2 weeks!!
