Painful period after birth of my daughter

Hey guys, so i had my daughter about 6 1/2 weeks ago. I just got my period back yesterday & its gotten worse as the day progresses 🙁 i was wondering if its normal for the first period after birth is suppose to be this painful (cramps like crazy, sore clitoris 😳). I have never taken any over the counter meds for my period until today, thats how bad it was.
