Okay, so I am at a loss here. I'm a daycare teacher for infants and one baby had a diaper rash so bad her mom went and got this prescription diaper rash cream. She had blisters on her bottom and it made me want to cry. I felt like it was my fault even though I change all of them every single hour. I asked mom if I could and I was checking her and changing her every 30 minutes because I didn't want her sitting in a wet diaper at all because it was just so bad. Is it possible that she has a fruit allergy? I've noticed that when I feed her baby food that's fruit like apples and bananas and she poops it makes the rash worse. I know that fruit is acidic so can that cause their poop to be more acidic??
