When to tell my job?

Hello all! I recently started my job 12/29. Currently I'm 6 weeks pregnant, and my 90 day probation ends March 29th. This is my second child so I fear that I may start to show sooner than later, I'm really scared I'm going to lose my job! When is a good time I should tell my job?

Many women choose not to tell their boss until they are 3-4 months along or until they start to show. If you fear for your job security,  wait until after your probation period is up, it is illegal for any company to fire a woman for being pregnant,  but if you are still 'on probation ' they can let you go at anytime, for no reason.

Its illegal for them to fire you for being pregnant, or even to ask you if they suspect it!  Wait for probation to end and then tell them. The sooner they know, the better they can plan for coverage and transition when you take maternity leave!  Don't stress over it.
