I've been hearing so much about taking a tablespoon or two of castor oil to jump start labor. I'm 39 weeks and 5 days & I've only been 1cm 0% effaced but my cervix has been soft for about 3 weeks now so I feel like my little boy doesn't want to come out and his due date is Monday. I've tried a bunch of home remedies, I walk a bunch everyday and have at least one spicy food a day, having sex & now trying nipple stimulation because I really don't want to be induced on the 26. Have any of you ladies used castor oil & it worked? I want to hear all the pros and cons!!
