Normal?

I believe I'm on my period, I suffer from pcos and don't get a period every month but I have got one now... Pain in my hips is unbearable I can hardly walk! I am bleeding really heavy which is unusual for me to the point when I go toilet I can see all the blood after I have peed! Grime I know... Is this normal?

I also have pcos and get my period anywhere from once every 3 to 6 months.(just surprised with it at 4am this mornng) The pain in my hips and pelvic area is horrific. To the point I have to sleep with a pillow under my lower tummy. My bleeding varies. Sometimes it's really heavy like and others it's not as heavy and doesn't last as long. My doc said it's fairly normal with pcos. Hope this helps!
