Would you ever put your child in pageants? Like on toddlers and tiaras?

I've been watching toddlers and tiaras on Hulu cause I've seriously watched every season of every show 😩 but anyway, I can't believe how much makeup they put on these kids! Fake eyelashes and nails and tans! I don't think I could ever do that to my baby!! Could you?

I think it depends, if the child wanted to do it I certainly wouldn't deny her. But, I also wouldn't be caking her face full of makeup and making her look 30 before she's even 10. It's sad the way those mother's go completely competition crazy and won't allow the child to just be happy. Especially after the child has expressed an interest in quitting pageants and things of the like.

No, I think it's teaching young girls that they have to look and act a certain way or they won't get anywhere in life. If you want to teach your daughter social graces and poise and discipline there are better ways to do it that won't put them at the mercy of snotty tots and momzilla's.

I would not, first those girls are so disrispectfull woth their parents is crazy, and I think is too much toxins for a child is too much makeup, false eyelashes and hair ironing. I would rather put the child in a sport or something. But hey this is just my opinion.

I would if she wanted or if she is shy like was, and she would be in natural pageants. When she's older (16) and she decides she wants to do glitzy we will. Overall it's up to her.

I would if she wouldnt to be. But she wouldnt be changing her skin or the way her face looked. She needs to learn its important to be comfortable with who you are.

Definitely until my child can say if they want to or not. But I would enter then with a different perspective. It wouldn't be about winning or whether they're pretty or not

That show gives pageants a bad name.... however I think they have just changed and are geared that way now.  I was in pageants when I was little had make up like my mommy but..... still looked like a little girl!  Now flippers, fake eyelashes, or tans.  I loved pageants and think they can install good things in young girls.  Oh also there are natural pageants and I think they are better now days than the glitz ones.
