Cervical Position

Anyone have any thoughts on cervical position in fertility? I've tested high fertility for a week now; I haven't reached a peak  yet. My cervix has been low, soft, and open. Tonight it drastically changed to very high, closed, and firm. I'm going to test with opk tonight. Seems to me though that the strip in my digital opk is getting lighter and lighter, even though it silly sys High Fertility (blinky smiley face). Any thoughts?
