What advice do you have

Unwed mother. Pregnant out of wedlock and Single. If your mother said she's embarrassed about your situation and doesn't want you to attend her church doesn't want you to tell her side of the family and if you go out act like you don't know her.

What would you ladies do about a mom who has been married 30years strong traditional values she loves you but this just hurts your feelings.

One church is not a place to pass judgment and the congregation should be supporting. Don't let your mother keep you from going to church, my mom is traditional as well but has never and would never say things like that to me.

I think you need to have a heart to heart with your mother bc the way she's treating you is not God like "remember Jesus sat with the sinners" your mom should be happy. I understand a little embarrassment but she'll have to get over it. If your mom isn't willing to change et attitude towards you, maybe y'all need to go separate ways for awhile bc if she wants you to act like you don't know her in public there is no need for her to smile in your face behind doors. Your mom is going to hide your baby from her side of the family and wants you to act like strangers in public??? That's so heartless and cold, I don't blame you for being upset. A baby is a blessing regardless of the circumstances so please don't feel bad. this is not the 1950s. I don't know how long she thinks she can pull all of this off. Are you never to see your family? Why does it matter what people out in public think? Your mother should be supportive but she's really not.

I've left your mother's church out of this because I think you should be able to worship in a place where you're forgiven and not judged by others. It's between you and the Lord at the end of the day. If your mother's church is of the same mentality as her, I'd never step foot in there again. Yes, you've sinned. But who has not?

In today's world, there are millions of single mothers. You are not alone. I highly suggest telling your mother how hurtful she is being. If your mother's church is more open minded than her, speak to someone from there. Ask them to speak to your mother with you. Perhaps even church counseling.

Her being a member of the church should know that judgment b should not be passed by anyone not her not members if your family nor anyone in the church, the only ONE whom should pass  judgment is GOD and GOD alone.
