Really itchy?

Question

I'm extremely itchy at night. Mostly arms, hands, legs and feet. It's keeping me up all night. Anyone else have this problem? 
I was reading about this liver issue that can cause this. Talkin to my dr. Thursday about it.

I just moisturizer like crazy, so haven't had any issues.

Waiting on bloodwork results to see if its Obstetric cholestasis. Hopefully not, so worried.

I've had nights like that. I keep really good moisturizing lotion on my end table & apply it when I need to. I used to love lavender aveeno, but found out through my husband that dermasil dry skin treatment is even better. Definitely recommend it!

I've had nights where I start itching like mad as soon as I lay down. I've learned to take half a Benadryl or I'll be up all night!

I am also getting checked for cholestasis, make sure they do a bile acid test not just the liver function test.

I have had this since 30 weeks! Hives at night and random moments during the day.  I now have to take Benedryl at night which helps me sleep and seems to keep my skin calm throughout the day..doctor said she wasn't concerned, just a weird pregnancy thing. She said if it got much worse or on my belly to call her. But it's just been my legs and elbows.

Signature symptoms of cholestasis. You should get it checked out sooner than later. Usually people with that diagnosis are induced at 37 weeks 😖 Good luck!

I wouldn't be waiting til Thursday with those symptoms Hun. Definitely worth giving someone a ring asap as I'm sure you've read it can be a sign of something more serious. Better to put your mind at rest sooner rather than later. Keep us posted hunny xx
