Back up baby names?

Are any of yall planning a back up name if the names you have picked don't fit the baby when it's born?

Our son picked out Scarlett and everyone loves it, but for some reason a part of me is still stuck on Vada/Veida/Vayda (not sure of spelling yet). We've already told everyone her name would be Scarlett but I am going to make a final decision once I see her.

We aren't making any final decisions until we actually meet him for this very reason. We have it narrowed down to three and we'll see which one suites him the best :) plus, the anticipation is making everybody excited haha

Lol I'm so picky I probably should. My son didn't have a name until we was signing discharge papers. But, it's been such a struggle just finding something we agree on I can't see us finding two. Plus, all of her stuff will be monogrammed so it will be pretty set in stone.

Only in the sense that we have a boy name on the back burner in case our little girl magically turns out to be a boy. ;)

I've liked the same girl name for like 10 years and it's what I plan to use, the boy name is what my husband picked out so we'll see if he sticks with it. We still haven't decided on middle names. Hopefully find out gender in two days.
