Labor close?

If the mucus plug starts to come out, and not from exams or sex, does that mean labor will start soon? Or could it still be days or weeks?

Lost some of mine when I went into preterm labour at 33weeks, they stopped the labour and now at 38weeks still waiting for baby

I didn't lose mine until I was in active labor with my first. Have heard some lose it weeks early though.

Could be either.. Some people lose it early on and it's still weeks until labor. With my first mine didn't come out until I was having contractions and in labor. Everyone is different!

Mucus plug can come out and regenerate. Could still be weeks.
