How to give the period talk to newbies?
So my friend's sister, who recently turned 10, just got her period and it's been a bit of a difficult time for her sister. You see, she's never really had a mother figure to talk to about things like this, so once we got on the period topic, it's been really awkward for her. She recently had an accident at school as well and it's because she doesn't change her pad so often. My friend and I are really trying to find ways to make this situation easier and more comfortable for her, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas to remind her to change her pad every 3-6 hrs, and a way to make the "period talk" less awkward for little girls?
