I recently gave birth via repeat cesarean, due to a uterine defect with possible partial uterine rupture to this handsome guy at 34+3 weeks. He spent 6 days in the NICU! Now that we are home, we have asked that family members please get the whooping cough (pertussis) vaccine along with the flu shot. Our entire family is on board EXPECT my mother -in-law. She absolutely refuses. My husband & have asked her several times to please get the vaccine to help protect our son. Seeing as we can't force her...we have made the decision to not let her come around our son. We had hoped by doing so she would break down and get vaccinated...nope! She's is now no longer speaking to me. I am wondering if we are being ridiculous or is she? Any advise?
