I asked a really cool friend of mine to prom a month ago. He said yes. Weeks later, there was all of this drama between him and this other girl that people were telling me. I didn't believe it, and he even told me he didn't like her. Up until that point, we were just friends until I started to maybe like him more. He and I shut down the rumors until the following week when him and that girl were dating. At that point I told him and the girl I wouldn't go to prom with him. They both acted like I was crazy and said we made he agreement to go before they were a couple. I morally couldn't do it because I did have feelings and I would've been miserable. He literally broke my heart and then gave out my number to someone else who asked me to prom. Now I'm just angry and feel like he's the biggest jerk. Am I right to be mad and feel hurt?
