Currently i am just shy of 33 weeks.

On my 30 week appointment I was measuring at 28 inches but last week we found out I was measuring at 35inches! Holy 7 inch gain, and me feeling huge was not just a feeling!!! Had to have an ultra sound on Friday because of the large increase but the news we got was not what I thought we were going to hear.

Found out our little girl is really small - less than the fifth percentile! Doc says she is measuring at 3.3lbs when she should be closer to 5lbs. She is about 16 inches right now too.

I am told that right now she looks perfectly health but just tiny. Doc say medically all her measurements are right on target for a "normal" sized babt... but i am to have another ultrasound at my 34 week appt and if she hasn't gain enough weight I have to go weekly for ultrasound. I'm not sure how to feel about this.... I don't know if I should be concerned or not.

Doc is concerned for low birth weight as am I, but my first was little too. She was 5.5 21 in but she was also 5w3d early... I eat pretty much anything I want already but have gained only 23 lbs for the entire pregnancy. Anyone else have this come up? I really just don't know how to feel right now.
