Socks during sex?

So I've never had an orgasm before... But I've recently heard from a friend that If I wore socks during sex it'll help me orgasm. Has anyone here tried this before and if so, have you noticed a difference?

I feel like I've gotta have my blanket over my feet/gotta keep my feet warm, to me it's just a preference and keeps me in the mood for longer haha I can get really cold feet so keeping them covered and warm is important for me!
