How much pain do you get with your periods?

Just trying to get a rough idea of what the majority of women go through each month.

I have to take prescription pills to get through, and even on BC it's excruciating. I vomit from the pain, sometimes pass out, can't move or function and sweat profusely for the first 5-6 hours unless I'm consistently on those pills. And if I take it too late and throw the first one up I'm SOL. It's a big chunk of the reason I love being pregnant so much.

On the first or second day it is horrendous but after that it goes away. And it varies in strength cycle to cycle. Sometimes I can just about cope with painkillers other times its a stay in bed with a hot water bottle job.

OTC meds stopped working for me a while ago. Advil is the only thing that even touches the pain, but I have to take about 800-1200mg for it to be dulled. I cannot take prescription painkillers because then I wouldn't be able to work while on them. It's a hard issue to deal with sometimes.

No cramps, no fatigue, no sore boobs, no bloating. But I would trade all of that for a regular cycle!!

Every cycle I am doubled over in pain and I can't do anything, and this lasts for probably 4-5 days. OTC meds don't touch it, hot water bottles don't help... I become a total mess. I am currently waiting for scans to see if I have fibroids, and if that comes back negative then I'll have to go for a diagnostic laproscopy to see if I have endometriosis :(
