My husband and I had our first daughter when he was 15, and I was 16. And then we were pregnant with another beautiful baby about 3 months later. This time was different though. We decided to do a private, open adoption with an extremely close friend of ours who has struggled with infertility for around 16 years. She was with me for every milestone, every kick, every braxton hick, every craving and everything from 7 weeks pregnant until the second I gave birth. My husband, daughter and I lived with them through most of the pregnancy. While the adoption was a little emotionally hard on me after I moved out of state, it was also extremely rewarding. She knows who her birth family is and I talk to the mother daily. 2 years later, the maternal need that I had after the adoption never left, so we decided to try to have another. In September, we conceived and ended up losing our sweet baby. We've been TTC since, and I FINALLY got my BFP a few days ago.💜🌈 My husband has NO idea. I've been throwing cute little hints that have to do with the way I have the announcement set up and he keeps talking about how he has all of these ideas for when we have another. He keeps saying how he can't wait for us to have another baby. 😊 Little does he know, I'm trying not to burst and spill the beans until I make it past the point where we lost our last baby. My oldest daughter is 3 (will be 4 on October 25th) and my due date is October 26th! My 2nd is 2, and will be 3 on November 4th. So my due date is right in between both girls birthdays. How cool! 💜🌈😁
