Has anyone done the HSG test?

I'm having the HSG test on March 1st and they told me I cannot drive afterwards... What goes on during the test that limits my driving abilities. I've also heard that the test is painful, is it? I'm so nervous!

Just googled it, never had it done or heard of it. Probably because you'll be sore after being injected via cervix. They say the same thing with iud insertion too. You might be sore after the procedure. Also it might be that they numb you with something through iv....which in that case you also might have someone drive you incase whatever pain med they gave you made you drowsy. But seriously I really don't know so take my thoughts with a grain of rice because Idk.
