Do all jobs turn down pregnant woman?

Question

I sent my resume out for a desk job, went to the interview and they wouldn't hire me because I am pregnant. 
Why? I am very capable of working just like any other person pregnant or not. It is so frustrating, I'm just another woman out there trying to find work to provide for herself and her babies. 
Is there any good places or suggestions any one has for work, for a pregnant woman ?

It's illegal to not hire a woman strictly because she is  pregnant. That is considered a form of discrimination. Companies can be fined for practicing such discriminatory acts.

Its also illegal to admit thats why they didnt hire you. I openly admitted to my now district manager during an interview that i was 28 weeks along. I told her i had no complications and can still do my job up until the day I delivered and would be coming back once my dr allowed it. Bc i openly admitted it they couldn't tell me no. Im now 36 weeks along and working my butt off

How pregnant are you? Are you showing a lot? If not, dress in a way that downplays your belly.. Carry a big bag... A coat in front of you... Anything to hide it. A friend of mind did that and got hired as a teacher. She was due in September. Worked for a month and then took a lot of time off.

Places won't admit to it. They won't hire pregnant women because you're going to take time off when the baby comes. Its sad because i agree we are able to work. But yet no one will hire you as soon as they see you're pregnant!
