This is my understanding on how to read your US picture using the Ramzi Method...please correct me if I'm wrong.  I gathered the information from the blog post below and the clarification in the comments of the blog post.

Transvaginal US: Place the picture on your belly with the image facing up.  Look down at the image and if the placenta is on the Left = Girl and Right = Boy

Abdominal US: Look at the picture as you would look at it normally if the placenta is on the Left = Boy and Right = Girl

I just copied this off the internet but loads of people are saying boy for Transvaginal scans when they see the picture straight on and the baby is on the right when in actual fact your baby is on the left!
