Today I had my 40week appt and the dr checked my cervix and said she tried to stretch it a bit bc I'm still pretty closed (1cm ish). She of course told me spotting is perfectly normal but call if I see period like blood. I didn't have any spotting until about 7 hours later. It's light pink gooey discharge, not red blood spots.  I assume if it was due to the check it would've started earlier. Any thoughts on if this is from the check or could this be my show??? Not sure what to think!
