I didn't discuss an episiotomy ahead of time with my doctor. Right as I was delivering he told me it looked like I would tear and he asked if I wanted to let it tear or for him to cut it. He said his preference was to cut if I didn't have a preference and I said fine (I was seconds from delivering). Now I wish I would have just let it go naturally after reading up about it. My little girl was only 6lbs 5oz and so tiny that maybe it wouldn't have torn after all. Just disappointed with my decision. Anyone else feel the same?
