is 30 mins apart bad??

so they say to take the pill at the same time consistently, every day. I usually take it at 7:30 but occasionally I forget until 8. is that going to make its efficiency go down??? my mom knows I'm on it but for cramps and stuff so I can't ask her this. anyone???

Don't worry, half an hour is nothing, you're told to take the pill at the same time to stop women doing things like: taking one pill at 8am in the morning and taking the next pill at 12pm at night the following day. Because that will mean it will have been way over 24 hours since your last pill even though you technically had one every day, and you won't be protected as much.

As long as you always have it in the morning sometime, midday sometime or afternoon sometime (etc.) you should be fine. Half an hour or even a few hours will not make that big of a difference if you're consistently taking the pill !

Don't be worried. Your body can hardly tell a 30 minute difference. It starts to matter if you make a dramatic difference and take it in the morning instead of night or skip it, etc

I think you can even take it like an hour or two if you forget (just don't make it a habit). 30 min won't do any harm though.

You'll be fine. I'm pretty sure there's usually a two to three hour window. Only be concerned if it's been more than six. Read the directions in your pill packages
