A friend of mine recently asked me to be her maid of honor, but I said no because I'm dealing with a long term illness, and unemployment so I don't have the time, energy, or money to help her plan a massive wedding, or throw her any parties. I let her know it had nothing to do with my feelings towards her and I'd be willing to help out in other ways. She was disappointed, but she said she understood and we had a good chat.

But then she ignored me for THREE WEEKS. When I finally did hear from her, she told me she talked to her mom and they were both upset about it. When I didn't respond immediately she told me how much she misses me, but that doesn't make any sense since she didn't respond at all when I tried to reach out and often shuts me out if she doesn't get what she wants from me. Anyway, what do I do?
