My baby came at 35 weeks and 4 days. She was taken by emergency c-section because I had stroke level high blood pressure due to preeclampsia. She came out crying at 4lbs 9oz but then stopped breathing so she had to be intubated and sent immediately to the nearest hospital into the NICU. It has been 5 days now since she was born and she has made amazing progress, she was able to be taken off the ventilator just hours after arriving, she now only has an IV and a feeding tube since I was recovering at the delivery hospital and was not here to feed her. My baby girl is a fighter this will all be over soon.
