My Husband has been accepted to do his Internship for Graduate School at the Munroe Meyer Institute starting July 1st!!! We are very excited and proud of him! However this means we will be moving from our home state of Michigan for the first time in our lives. We have no idea how to even move across the country! We are completely clueless about Nebraska. I was wondering if any of you amazing ladies live in Omaha that could give me advice, tips ,pointers? Like good neighborhoods, things to do in Omaha, what its like, hows the weather? Pretty much any information you have I will greatly appreciate! We have found an apartment we really think we will love. Its Camelot Village near Benson Garden. We have a 5 year old son, a 10 month old chocolate lab and I am currently 16 weeks pregnant. I will be playing stay at home mom for a year while my husband does his internship (which is payed with benefits so no worries there). So anything you would like to share about Omaha I would love to hear! Thanks ladies!!!
