Nail Polish on Babies?

My husband and I found out two weeks ago that we're having a baby girl. Now, I LOVE seeing little baby girls with their toenails painted. I think it's adorable. I am thrilled to be getting a daughter whose little baby toenails I can color up!

But apparently this is a really touchy subject with a lot of moms. I understand the concern that babies put EVERYTHING in their mouths, and who the heck wants their sweet one ingesting chemical-filled nail polish? I sure don't!
