I had a vbac and was told by my dr b4 I had my daughter that u can't be induced with medication cuz it ups the chance of uterine rupture... They told me I could go to 41 weeks and then they could try to induce with a foley bulb I think it's called, its an unmediated way to dilate ur cervix... Don't give up hope for ur vbac I was 2 days over my due date with baby #3 my first two came on their due dates so I was very disappointed... That day I went for a 2 1/2 mile walk with my oldest cuz I had been have contractions for 5 days that were all over the place and not painful at all...they started to get regular after walking then I went home and did things around the house cuz I didn't want them to stop, after a few hrs it was about 8pm I decided to sit and relax and if they stopped that she jus wasnt ready... Went to bed at 9:30 was still feeling them but they never started hurting then woke up to my water breaking at 2:30am.. I really thought nothing was going to happen and then it did and I had her 7 hrs later and had a perfect vbac delivery
Has anyone had a "SLOW PITOCIN" drip w/VBAC
My due date is tomorrow with baby #3, but he doesn't seem to be ready. I have a feeling that I may have to have another c-section if he doesn't make an appearance by next week. I'm so dreading it. My recovery from my c-section was by far the worst!!! I was just wondering if anyone has had a slow pitocin drip to induce? What was your experience like? By the way I'm already 3cm dilated as of last week and had my membranes stripped once.. Let me know your experience or other alternatives you have tried!!
