I had my first noticeable contraction at 11am on Monday. It was irregular till around 6pm and suddenly became 5min apart for abt 50min (during ds time, I was loosing my plug in bits) it was pure mucus at first and later wit sm brownish stains. The contraction interval increased to 10min apart tru d nyt till 12pm, on Tuesday ( sleepless night all d way). It decreased to 7,9,5min interval till 5pm. I was patient because my doctor's appointment was scheduled for 6:30pm DAT same day. D pain made me so sick that I couldnt do anything d whole day. My hubby got bk from work and we were able to see d Dr around 7pm. He checked me and exclaimed; your wife is already at 5cm and in labour, she can't go home wit u, go get her stuffs. She arrived 2hrs later wit 3 pushes, fourth degree tears and it was worth it. Baby Zion, 8lbs, 38wks,6days.
