What is considered "sex"?

I think anything like foreplay or actual sex is sex. Oral SEX. Like even masturabtion is impure if youre thinking of someone or watching porn.I think the bible talks more about abstaining from impure thoughts more than the actual SEX. Yunno? 

My partner and I are staying celebate. He believes sex is anything sexual (from touching down there, groping, head, etc. to actual penetration.) He believes we don't call these acts "sex" we call them foreplay or just messing around, but they are still for pleasure. I don't really know how I feel about this. I always thought only penis-in-vagina penetration was sex and everything else was fine. But I've realised this definition isn't LGBT inclusive, and I'm also opening my mind up to my partners opinions. It's a tricky one!!!
