After 2 years and a terrible end to our friendship, I decided to reach out to you. You put yourself through hell, and I know I chose the worst time to stand up for myself, a time when your life was falling to pieces, but you left me little choice. I could have been that friend, the one who stood by you no matter what and held you up till you could stand again, I wanted to be. But you attacked me, you used your angry words to kick me in the heart and set fire to our friendship. If I had stayed, if I hadn't stood up for myself I'd be a broken mess of a human that you would be unable to respect...so I wish you well and I wanted you to know that even if you hate me, I still appreciate and remember all those years of good times and I hope good things for your future.Thank you.
