Crib set?

What do you use out of the crib set? I see that some are only 2 pieces, and some go up to 9 pieces, but I feel so lost! What do you ladies find that you use the most? Just the fitted sheet and crib skirt? Do I need a bumper? Is the matching blanket nice to have or do you find that you used your other blankets more? Any advice would be wonderful!

This time around I plan to get the fitted sheet and a blanket that I can hang on the wall until baby is old enough to have a blanket in the crib-- that's all. I didn't use any of the rest of it last time, especially not the bumper because my doc said it increases the risk of SIDS bigtime!

I only used the sheet and skirt. And as far as the bumper, I was also told it could contribute to SIDS. So I bought a mesh bumper that was breathable for my last child and it was great!

The bumper  is only good when they are over 1yr so their lil toes don't get caught in the bars in while sleeping at night

We just got the basic 3 peice one. We use all of it. The sheet, dust ruffle, and we just hang the conforter on the end for decoration. The one we got is lion king and was $45 from walmart.

The big quilt we are gonna use as his floor blanket and the crib skirt and the sheets. The throw pillows are with his stuffed animals and the bumper I may take off since I hear they are not safe for the babies.

I just have fitted sheets (3) and sleep sacks (2 for each season I'm Canadian and we get all seasons.) once he's older I'll get him some blankets.

This time I'm getting a seperates set and will get a skirt, sheets, and teething guard rail

Fitted sheet and a blanket. Not on top of him, because he hates blankets, but underneath because I feel like crib mattresses are so hard.
