Changing table. Did you use one or not?

I'm trying to figure out if I need one or not. I'm trying to save money where I can. If it's something that I won't really use I don't want to waist my money. So let me know your experiences. Please!

Biggest waste of money ever in my opinion. It was always more convenient to use the bed/couch/floor.

My daughter is 15 days old and I have only used my changing table once. I have a pack n play that has a bassinet that converts to a changer, so I use that, and for quick changes I use the pad from the diaper bag and change her. I was just saying to my mom that I could of went without the changing table. It looks nice in my nursery though.

I change my son on my bed or on the couch with a changing pad under him.

This baby will be my first so I can't speak on experience. I'm not getting one though. I'm getting a changing pad to put on top of the long dresser we're buying. For our situation that's what will work :)

I had one like this and I still use it now and my last child will be 8...regular ones are a waste but ones that convert are good

Little man gets changed on my bed or the couch! I just have a changing pad I carry back and forth.

I didn't have one with my first.  With my second...yes as we then had the $$ for it.

But in all honesty, you change the baby on the bed etc and it is truly NOT NEEDED!! Trust me!!! If u don't have the cash for one, do NOT buy it. You can Easily get by without one! I swear!

No I just used the couch, I didn't  have the money or the room for one. I did make one out of a bookshelf which did work for a while but he outgrew it quickly.
