BFP after Low T, Clomid, & Varicocelectomy
5 years ago my (then boyfriend) had a benign testicular cyst-- this led to his first SA/bloodwork which revealed low T and a sperm count of almost 0. He didn't tell me then, but the doctor told him he wouldn't be able to have kids naturally. He took T injections for 6 mos, and his T levels went up.
3 years ago we got married.
21 mos ago we decided to TTC. We had to take the first 6 mos off because of my cholesterol numbers. A year ago, DH went in for another SA. Low count, low morphology, poor direction- just bad. This led to 6 mos of Clomid. In August we decided to treat his varicocele with a Varicocelectomy in mid-September.
Meanwhile, I got checked out in November, bloodwork confirmed that I am ovulating. Doc recommends using digital OPKs. Began in January, turns out I'm ovulating WAY earlier in my cycle than we thought. Today, 5 months after DH's varicocelectomy and 2 cycles of using digital OPKs-- we got our BFP. There's hope, y'all.
