Contractions?!?

Where your contractions mild at first before they got intense or just start off intense?

I had mild contractions for a week and a half before I went I to full labor. They got 3-5 minutes apart for a full day before my water broke and they started to hurt.

Mild at first. I got an epidural at 5 cm. They were starting to get pretty painful.

Mine were similar to what to hers have mention. Just annoying and not painful, but uncomfortable until my water was broken. First labor it took about an hour after my water broke to get painful enough I opted to start the epidural. With my second labor, my water broke, and the second contraction after that felt like instant hell. I had less than 1 hour of contracts that dilated me from a 5 to 10, so I think those were abnormally strong compared to my first labor and longer labors.

Never felt a single contraction before my water broke. About 30-40 minutes after it broke my contractions started and were very fast and pretty intense. When I got to the hospital about an hour and a half after my water broke I couldn't walk and could barely talk through them. It was really difficult to get the epidural with back to back contractions. They were not giving me a break at all. Had my son 4.5 hours after my water broke.

For me, they started pretty intense and were about 3 minutes apart right off the bat... Then they definitely got worse, very quickly.

Mild, they started while I was scrubbing my bathtub at 4 am lol...they really were not bad until I had my water broken, then they intensified. I've always had horrendous period cramps so contractions were pretty much the same only a little worse.
