Have any of you experience this?

I'm a little worried because my period started a few days ago and in the second day I used a tampon took it out 8 hrs later and since then my period just stopped completely. This has happened to me last month too and after a few days later I resume my period and discharge way more than usual. Is there something wrong with me or somehow is just normal for that to happen?
