What does mothers milk taste like?

I would love to boost my supply! LO does not eat off of my left side so I'm exclusively pumping but definitely not getting much. Only an once each time. We are 17 days postpartum!

I read online about fenugeek and mother milk. Read reviews about fenugeek but nervous to take those. Mixed reviews about your breast milk starting to smell like garlic and or maple syrup? Eek.

But then I heard good things about mothers milk. What exactly is it? Does it taste good? Is it a tea? I have no clue, definitely clueless here!

I was only getting an ounce every time I pumped as well. I tried mothers milk and it did nothing for me. As of yesterday I gave up on pumping. I was finding it more time consuming than what I was getting out of it. I just don't produce a lot of milk and I had to come to terms with that. I never leaked or anything. I was pumping every 2 hours for 20 mins and my supply was not increasing

Its tea and it doesn't tast bad when you mix it with another tea. I mix mine with raspberry tea. Make sure to drink it while its still hot thats the best. I can pump 5oz and im a week pp. I only drink a cup a day so i dont become too full.

I bought some for my first..never opened it after I learned it tastes like black licorice lol. I will prolly just suck it up and use it this time. I heard it works really well

It's a tea and I used it after I went back to work from maternity leave to keep my supply up.  It tastes like black licorice to me.  I think it worked for me.......I breastfed for a year while working full time and having to pump at least three times a day
