Clomid and ovulation pain????

Question

Does anyone else feel like their ovaries are going to blow up when they are ovulating? I ovulate on my own but I've been ttc for 6 years and dr has me on Clomid. My ovaries seriously feel like they are going to explode!

Yes! My 1st round of clomid I was in so much pain and this 2nd round it wasn't as intense.

I just realized this is an old post, but YES! I've done Clomid and Letrozole and a couple times the pain was so intense on my right side I almost went to the ER to make sure it wasn't my appendix or hernia. My ultrasounds confirmed that when I take it I grow large cysts, so they believe that's what I was feeling. This month I haven't grown any cysts yet and the pain wasn't as bad (however, my follicles are still too small to do the IUI, so I'm hopeful they grow soon and this month isn't a wash). Good to know other people experience it too- my doctors at first were blaming it on other things until it continued to happen each month.

Yes I know the feeling!! Like they have swollen to a million times their normal size and are about to burst!
