Any October mamas get the Copper IUD? Like it or dislike it??

Question

Any comments whether they're good or bad would be appreciated! I'm thinking about getting one inserted. 
Will I bleed after its in?
Does it affect my sex drive? 
Will sex hurt? 
Are periods n cramps worse?  
 Again, any help would be much appreciated thank u!!

I got it and had to have it removed after 11 days.

I began cramping when it was inserted and it did not go away the whole time I had it in.

I got a horrible pain especially on one side of my uterus afte a few days, Then I started getting chest pains. I waited a few days to get it taken out because I kept reading that the symptoms were normal.

But the pain became so unbearable I had to have it taken out. The relief was instant after removal.

You may not have the same symptoms but just know It's not for everyone. Do what feels right.

I love mine! I got one period right after I got it and since than have not had a period. Around that time I do get a little cramping but nothing major. Hardly noticeable unless you think about it. My doctor told me if you have been on the depo ( I was ) and reacted good to it than this would be just like it.

I have one. I got it out in at 9 weeks pp and love it! My son is almost 5 months. I bled for a couple of days after it was put in. My dr told me to use a pad for 2 days then I could switch to tampons to prevent infection. I used a panty liner after 2 days and barely had any blood. I have not had a period since. I'm assuming because I'm exclusively breast feeding. But I haven't had a decreased sex drive, cramps, anything. There are no hormones in it so it shouldn't affect your sex drive.
