Is it okay to go in for heavy bleeding

Is it okay to go in for bad cramps and heavy bleeding? Soaking a super tampon and a panty liner and my panties in 2 hours max. I've gone through 3 pairs of panties tonight . cramps started a week ago period just started yesterday. Tried everything. Midol, Tylenol, hot rag, hot bottle. Nothing seems to be easing the pain.
